Crystals are used in a variety of ways by members of the order. Each crystal carries a meaning and this can be useful in creating combinations which are tied to wishes that are made. The following guide exists to help provide information.

Some like to use days that are auspicious within astrology to select crystals for wish making and place them in the light of the moon. This is referred to as charging crystals. Crystals can be cleansed and recharged every full moon. There are several crystals that do not to be charged these are , citrine and kyunite. You can re charge crystals by placing them on top of a clear quartz, amethyst or citrine cluster.If you do not have these to hand you can  re charge your crystal in the following ways.

Place your crystal in the sunlight for a day and the moonlight for a night preferably around the full moon. This does not include crystals which should not be placed in the sunlight.

These are the crystals that should not be placed in direct sunlight.

Adventurine, Amethyst, Aquamarine, Beryl, Kunzite, Citrine, All Sapphires, All Flourites, Rose qaurtz, and Smoky quartz.

Other ways to cleanse crystals is to place in distilled himalayan salt water.

Some crystals do not like to be washed in water, these include Tourmaline, Tourqoise, Selenite, lapis Lazuli and metallic or fragile gems.

REcharging plants and crystals can be done by placing the crystal into  a plant pot to rejuvenite the plant and re charge the crystal.
